  1. PIPEX Dial Installation Check Utility

  6. This utility program is designed to check your computer system
  7. configuration to ensure that a subsequent PIPEX Dial installation
  8. is successful.  The utility will also perform a post installation
  9. check to ensure that the Dial configuration is still valid after
  10. other Internet software has been installed.
  11.  
  12. To run the checker utility
  13.  
  14. 1. From the Windows program manager select File>Run and type
  15.    a:\checker.exe  (or equivalent pathname from CD)
  16.  
  17. 2. From the File Manager just double click on the checker.exe 
  18.    program.
  19.  
  20. 3. Select Pre or Post installation check
  21.  
  22. 4. Click on the "Check" button
  23.  
  24. 5. Any configuration problems will be reported.

  27. Please note that WINSOCK.CHK in this directory is just a renamed
  28. WINSOCK.DLL
